Sunday afternoon my sister Theresa hosted a baby shower for me at her father-in-law’s house. All I had to do was send her a guest list and she did the rest! It was amazing and I had a good time. Some of my friends I don’t see nearly enough, and I apologize to them for that. I enjoyed seeing everyone and was happy for anyone who could make it to the party.
Thanks to everyone Quince now has a larger closet than I do, and is fairly set for a week or two after his arrival. We got a bunch of clothes, a couple books and even some diapers(in a few sizes too) and wipes. Theresa created this great looking diaper cake for the party, she even managed to find a stuff elephant which has a music box in it for the top. It’s a special family thing as my siblings and I all have stuffed animals with music boxes in them from when we were babies. She was pretty excited to have found one, and as a bonus it’s an elephant: both her and I have elephant ones.
Because Theresa was so happy to find this outfit, here’s a photo of it. Orange happens to also be her favorite color. I plan on dressing him in this when she sees him(and it fits him of course) and naturally taking a picture of it. 🙂 It says “I like hanging with my aunt”.
