I unexpectedly decided to return home early Monday morning. Mostly because once it came time to leave Seattle, I realized how tired I really was and felt it was better to not drive at night. Here’s the view of the Olympic Mountains as the ferry starts the turn for docking at Bainbridge Island. Don’t they look beautiful? I’m pretty sure this photo doesn’t do it justice.
And behind us of Mt. Rainier. The only thing ruining this shot is that dumb beam on the left side! But still, I love how the clouds look like they are being drawn into the mountain. I have to say after meeting a bunch of cool people, both stars and not, a gorgeous ferry ride is a great way to start the drive home.
