New Findings

Last year I knit a lot. I finished more projects than I have since I started. The reason for this is I spent a chunk of the year not being able to look at a screen for longer than an hour.

2022 was an interesting year of learning. I took two amazing trips to places I had never been before. I had a seizure while grocery shopping with the kids and learned I have epilepsy. I joined the epilepsy club when my post seizure MRI scan returned as abnormal. I got covid. I spent a couple of months not working and sometimes the memory isn’t what it used to be.

As April moves forward it reminds me it has been nearly a year since I have been able to drive my car. Each day I say hello to her while I walk up to the bus to meet the children.

To help cope when I couldn’t look at a screen, I turned to knitting. I could look at my iPad long enough to read what I was needed to do next in the pattern. Thanks knitting!
