Thank you gifts

Quince’s pre-school teachers have meant so much to us. I can’t say enough good things about Little Rhythms Learning Center. We have known Bonnie for 5 years now. I was introduced to her when I phoned her about starting Music Together classes with Quince at the tender age of 3 to 6 months old. Hands down one of the best decision we ever made. When Bonnie announced she was going to open a pre-school, we wasted no time looking at other ones and asked to sign up. Before I get too mushy, on to the gifts.

The tags I made use a mixed media format. I learned this technique from my friend, Grace. Here’s sample of the ones we made together. IMG_2427I glued magnets on the back so that it could be stuck to something. The tag itself are formica samples you can get from Home Depot. They offer two sizes of samples, this is the larger of those.

After deciding on which one to use simply work from there! The first two I embossed. Yes, you do need to heat the sample for some time. You also need to remember to allow it to cool. I made that mistake once, not only was it really hot more importantly, I messed up what I embossed.
