We have been busy people! Surprise, I know. 😛
Richard has started up band again back in Jan, so once again Monday nights I’m a widow. For awhile my friend Lau and I were getting together every other Monday night for dinner, however she had some work changes and we haven’t been able to meet up this month at all. Instead I .. well. play wow. 😛 Actually, Monday to Friday after work that’s pretty much all I do. The weekends are a different story, usually we aren’t home.
March 20th Richard and I packed up the car and went down to Cannon Beach, Oregon for Katie and Gerri’s Wedding. We had a great time! Our hotel was quite nice and we both decided that we would stay there again. The wedding was held on the beach, there was a slight wind that afternoon, but the actual ceremony site was tucked away a bit. Dinner was also wonderful! Richard had a steak that still moo-ed and I had halibut fish and chips. Pictures on from our wedding are up on the gallery for viewing pleasure.
On our way home Sunday we met up with Kami at her mom’s and then came back here. While Richard went to work and band, Kami and I went out to the hook and played on the rocks there. When we returned to the house we decided to open the bottle of wine she picked up for me while she was in the mid-west, played wow and had dinner. The wine was amazing and I would really like a few more bottles of it. 😀 Tuesday we just hung out around the house and had a chill day until about late afternoonish when we left to get Richard from work and return Kami to the Seattle area so she could go back to Bellingham.
That night we had dinner with Chris and Liz. They had us try Icelandic treats…. it was.. interesting. Entertaining photos of Liz and I eating them though. It was a fun visit.
