I have posted up pictures from this year’s con already! Although some of them need to be rotated so deal with it until I get that done. I don’t have much free time somehow so it’s on the back burner of things to do. 🙂
This year was a pretty good time. Kami made both of our costumes, which turned out great! I was really happy with them both. Richard got some good photos of us together but I’m not sure if he has posted them yet. I’ll update this when he does. This year we did Kouchin and Taiin from Shounen Omnyouji. It’s not a popular anime but I really enjoy the story.
We spent a lot of time just people watching this year. While Richard say the preview of the new Trigun movie, Kami and I wondered around and viewed some of the amv contest. We saw the drama, comedy and commercial categories. One of the winners was one titled Ginta Reviews a Movie, a parody of Bum Reviews. If you haven’t seen them check it out, it’s pretty funny. That particular one was a parody of the Twilight review.
Overall I would say I took way less pictures and stood in more lines. I didn’t get as many autographs as previous years mostly because there were a bunch on Friday and I was waiting to get my badge for a good part of that day. I was little disappointed by the long wait but when can you do? It was great being able to stay in Cecile’s condo again this year though! And that it is even closer to the Convention center than her previous one. 😀 Thank again for letting the three of us overrun it.
We did get to see Matthew again this year and had lunch with him Friday after we got out of the pre-reg line. I would consider him our “con friend” and it’s always nice to visit. Usually I would see Amber there as well, however, her baby is due any day now and she couldn’t make it. Amber I missed seeing you though! Catch you next year with baby in costume I’m sure. We’re thinking about taking Rhia with us for a day as well. She might enjoy the excitement, but we’ll see. Really it’s just an excuse to dress her up in something cute and to hang out with her for a day. 😀
So overall it was a good time and I look forward to next year.
