In honor of Quince’s 4th birthday, we invited over his friends from school for a party in the afternoon and family for a birthday dinner. Both on Saturday. He was so excited to have his friends come over to his house, it was almost an unbearable morning. Often he asks if they will come over as we are getting ready for bed or at breakfast. Neither are times conducive to inviting friends over.
For the day we set up a kiddy pool, bubble machine and what yard toys we had. The kids decided it would better serve them if it was at the end of the slide on the play structure(castle if you ask Quince). At first they just would slide, only slashing with their feet. After cake we had a bunch underwear clad, very excited kids running around the yard.
Lego was destroyed and rebuilt, bubbles were chased and the lawn got well watered. Thank you to everyone who came!
