I wanted to type out this quick post detailing some of Q’s new words and likes these days.
In no particular order some of his new words:
- cookie
- go-go(referring to a motorcycle, scooter or bike)
- watch
- tv
- sky
- car door
- kitty
- dog
- shoes
- Elmo and Cookie Mo(still working on saying the rest of monster)
- truck
Many of these get combined with ones he already knew. Such as “watch ipad”, or “go car door”.
Over the last couple months, Richard and I have noticed that he has taking a liking to Cookie Monster. He will find videos on youtube featuring him. It was a couple weeks ago we were in the car that I heard him saying “cookie, nom nom nom”. He loves to laugh with the Count. Often you can tell he was trying to count something as he will follow it with his version of the Count’s laugh.
As for dislikes, I can say that Q doesn’t have too many. Weird textures he’ll make funny faces for. He’s really scared of the loin the roars at the beginning of MGM movies. The past few hair cuts have also been difficult.
