As the title suggests I was served. This is the 2nd time this year that a total stranger has bought something for me.
The first time back in Jan while Richard was at CES. Being tired and not having much left in the house Q and I went to a local Mexican place. It’s become one of our favorite places in town because the owner and his staff are always so nice to Q. Anyway, we were seated across and right after 2 pairs of older couples clearly getting together for their weekly meal. I was slightly worried because they were either going to be completely annoyed by sitting near a toddler or distract him from eating. Well, my worries were completely unfounded with this 4. Yes they did catch his eye once or twice but it wasn’t to the level that some people can be. We all finished our meals about the same time. I overheard one of the guys say “as thank you” to the waitress, I didn’t think anything of it. We waited, and waited for our bill. I was just going to ask when the waitress came up and said, the couple in the booth next to us paid for our dinner. “Say what?!” I was blown away and completely speechless. As they were leaving they said stopped by quickly to say hi and thank me for having such a delightful toddler. They said they felt I was doing such a good job with him the least they could do was to pay for our dinner as a compliment. Wow, those two couples truly left me speechless.

Now, I’m sure you noticed the very first picture is not of Mexican food. However, just yesterday I went into my local coffee shop ordered a mocha and was told today’s drink was paid for by someone already. “Enjoy” they said. Well thanks!
