Progress shot!! Clues were released today.
Jan 14 – Another day, another stitch! I’ve decided I need to learn a better hold for yarn while purling.
Jan 18 –Just completed row 44 as of the below picture! I had to tink back a row because I misread a line. I’m back in track and it’s looking good! Very pleased so far.
Jan 23 Finishing clue 1, worked out just fine. Starting the second clue didn’t go well. I’ll glad that I had done a lifeline. As it turns out I dropped a stitch between the last row of the first clue and the first row of clue two. Not quite sure how I did it but it took a bit to find it. This process caused me to start the offensive row a number of times in an attempt to fix the problem. I’m happy to report that since fixing the actual mistake, things are going nicely. For clue 2 I have decided to go with option A. Picture coming soon, I promise.
Jan 26 – Currently six rows away from finishing clue 2-A. Here’s a progress picture, finally.
Feb 20 – Nearly a month later, here’s a new progress shot. Thus far my clue part combo for this project has been BABA. For whatever the reason clue 4 part A was the most challenging for me. I ripped back 3 different times. The very first time was due to a small error I made in the last two rows of clue 3. I thought I had fixed them however missed one. It was quick to go back and get things on track. The second time I ripped back I was about row 12 or 13 when I realized that one of the “flowers”- you can see it there pictured in between the two markers – had about 15 more stitches than the other one. Whoops! I found my mistake a few rows back, or so I thought. I tried to pick up where I thought I had made the mistake however it still wasn’t quite right so ended up ripping all the back back to row 1. Turns out I made it way in the beginning.
Feb 25 –Here I am, still moving along with this project. Not feeling too well today so my rows are moving in slow motion. Hopefully will finish either today or tomorrow.
Feb 27 – I am finished knitting! Yay! Now it just needs proper blocking so I can actually make use of it. 🙂
