Pattern testing

Just earlier this week I was asked to if I would help test a pattern. This is something totally new for me! I meant OhCamels(as she goes by on ravelry) at our local yarn store, Cabled Fiber Studio, she’s the youngest person working there and amazingly talented at needle crafts. This last week her and I were setting up a day/time for a knitting lesson when she asked me if I would test a crochet pattern for her. “Sure!” I said almost before learning what the project even was. Any excuse to get me to sit down and work with yarn is a good one in my opinion.

Just last night I started this project. Oh! I never told you what it was. Well, it’s a crochet cribbage board! Ideally, one can even use it as a board once completed.

The color I’m using is close to a brick red, worsted weight yarn. I don’t have anything special to say in terms of using this yarn thus far.
